Hello to all my fellow reefers. I am rather new to this hobby, but have jumped in with both feet, and deep pockets. Lol.. My question to all of u reading this concerns what u add daily to ur tanks. My 75 rimless is pretty much become a LPS tank. Chalice, Zoas/palys, Gonis, etc... Was suggested that i add Red Sea Reef Energy A and B to my tank on a daily basis. Not that i believe everything he says, but would love to hear some other routine additives that more experienced reefers use. Thanks Paul C.

A lot of local reefers to Bay Area use SeaChem AquaVitro salt for water changes. They say that they don't dose any additives at all as the salt gives them all the right parameters. I'm thinking of checking it out on my next water change.

The only thing that gets added to my 75 is kalk in my ato. Other then WC that's all i put in my tank. Seen great growth out of my corals

Testing is KEY!!!! At least at first. A lot really depends on the salt you use too. Each salt has different levels in it so adjust to the salt you use. Be consistant! If you change water once a week and dose every day and then you start only changing water once a month it is going to throw off your results. I agree with the above. Calcium, Alkalinity, and Magnesium. I do the two part from BRS. You can see complete instructions on their website. Really a great method.
