Is there a point at which I should be concerned about my increase in nitrates.

seems to always be 1.2 -2 ppm a day. Not sure why it’s so high.

If daily increase by 1-2 ppm, then it means your export process cannot cope with the import.

Perhaps you can improve ur export process?

Right now it’s 19.2 using Hanna.

water change Sunday got me to 10.

20 gallon Red Sea max nano. With skimmer and 250 micron sock.

2 blue chromis.

feeding Hikari pellets. Mysis occasionally for scolymia and other LPS.

flow is rfg nozzle on ther return and a 240 gph power head. Picking up ther Nero 3 hopefully soon, to get more flow and take care of some dead zones have a very minor cyano problem. In the back corners.

I had Dino’s about a 2 months ago. Phosphate was completely bottomed out.

overfed pellets to get phosphate up. Not sure if this a residual effect from that I have been basting rocks to get out detritus.

Been doing a 50% water change weekly, everything looks good, but not seeing the 10% water change a week as a viable option for me.

have looked at possible refugium setups but it’s hard with haw the nano is setup. As I don’t want to hang o e on the display glass sides and have the light goi g into the display.

also just recently started dosing microbacter 7 to help with breakdown of organics, bottle says daily dosing for first week, which I am about to start the second week.
