I have JBJ 28G cube (all stock, no skimmer). I am currently doing 10% weekly water change by siphoning water from rocks and substrate without removing too much sand.
It would be much easier for me to do 1.5% water change daily by removing water with a pitcher / jug from the water surface.
Other than less solids removed (possible higher nitrates?) are there any other negatives of daily water changes in a tank this small?
Thanks

This is exactly what I do in my tanks. I do blow off the rocks/sand every day and replace my filter socks/floss every 3-4 days and that helps make up for the lack of vacuuming. You don't even need to match temp as long as you are only changing a small percentage. The only thing worth noting is some salt stores better than others. What salt mix do you use?

According to my calculations the temperature drop would be about 0.3 degree with water change.
I am using Fluval Sea (at a almost a gallon a $1!!) as that was the only salt my LFS had a time. I only have about a pound of it left and will be ordering online after I research it a bit more.
Blowing off rocks every other day is way easier than hauling buckets of water all over the house. Thanks for the tip.
