Well I decided to setup a tank for my higher end livestock, primarily softies and lps. I had previously had some of them im my sps tank and frag tank, but seemed to suffer from what I can gather is lack of nutrients.
I went through the normal setup and cycling procedures. Now before setup, I removed the false floor and bioballs and installed an Aquaticlife 115 skimmer in chamber 1. After running for a month I installed Chemi-pure elite in chamber 2. Installed a Ecotech Mp10wes
The first addition was a red fire fish. Shortly after I picked up a pair of Black Ice clowns from Kris @alphacorals.
Then I decided to upgrade my lighting with a Rapidled diy kit.
Next I had the opportunity to pick up a flame BTA.
Next I started to transfer over frags of things I had and started looking for more stuff.
Red hornet
Blue hornet
Rasta
Tangelos
Cornbreds Trash Mummy Eye
Miami Hurricane
Pink eyed Favia
Dragon Soul Favia
My favorite scan
Acan garden
Meteor shower
Fts
I am so happy that I set this up. My chalices and softies have really taken off. I have some more rock cycling in my larger tank to add some height to the rock work. I intend to leave as much open space as possible for corals to grow on rocks and plugs on the sand.
