Dalmation Molly and Molly Miller Blenny interaction (fighting?)

So for the past week my most black dalmation lyretail molly has been agitating my molly miller blenny. She (pretty sure it's a female) doesn't seem to be nipping at the blenny, the molly just goes to wherever the blenny is perched on the rocks and just kind of short darts forward at him (don't know how to sex a molly miller) like she is trying to intimidate him, and sometimes it almost looks like the molly is trying to mate with the blenny.... It could be that they are competing for the best algae eating spots in the tank, but that doesn't seem to explain it fully.

I know molly's aren't particularly popular in the hobby, but has anyone else ever seen any strange behavior between a molly and a blenny in a reef tank?

mollies can be sexed by a fin on their bottom. the pointy (ahem sword looking fin ) is male the triangle sail fin is femal. IDK if this applies to lyretails, but I would think so.

Lyretail mollies are SO pretty how is it doing in your SW tank?

He's doing great, been in there for months. I knew about sexing them, that's why I'm pretty sure its a female. I know male mollies have been known to try and mate with other species of fish and cause fights, but I don't know if females do that too...

Update: I noticed today that the "lyretail" is almost completely flat like a standard molly. It looks like the blenny might actually be the aggressor here. Might have to move this molly to live with the other two mollies in my 13.5 if they're gonna keep fighting.
