Dam....Damsel?

quick question. Tank up for almost 2 years.
Have 75gal

Have a yellow tang, two Nemos
Two purple yellow grammas
And a yellow belly damsel.

I’ve lost 2 chomies, one damsel and 3 file fish.
Think it was him?
Parameters all fine. I don’t see him attacking, but wondering. Only fish I’ve ever had. Along with a few inverts.

You have a lot of damsels.

The clowns and chromis are damsels as well.

A couple things I see are the tile fish are very meek and will likely be bullied with that list of fish.

2 chromis will typically not work. A single blue chromis or a large group is needed so they don’t kill each other off.

I’m also thinking you may have 2 dotybacks and not 2 royal grammas.

Do you have a pick of the purple yellow side views?

If there is a distinct line, it’s a dotyback. If it’s a gradual blend, it’s a gramma

ok, it's very doubtful this damsel killed anything. Its about as mild of a damsel as you can get.

I have 3, wish I had 5-7.

I would add 3-5 more of these vs a group of chromis. They will not kill each other off as the chromis will and will always be active and seen.

Yes. If you want a group, I would chose azure damsels over the chromis.
