So I think my 5-6in blue spot diamond goby damaged his swim bladder. I noticed today that he cannot seem to stay right side up and when he is sitting the proper way he floats upside down again. Looks to be a swim bladder issue. Is there any treatment other than hope. He was just put into a quarentine tank with the powerhead turned off to provide little flow. Any help much appreciated.

@Dilan Patel I can't say for sure, but that looks more like an internal injury than a swim bladder issue. Is there any swelling in the abdomen area?

As a side note --- that fish is very, very thin. Have you seen it eat? It's so thin, the anus is protruding a lot.

I agree that doesn't look like a swim bladder to me, I am leaning towards a very weak fish...

I thought the fish died months ago due to me not eseeing it for a while and it not coming out to eat. So A couple days ago he reappeared and was swimming fine but today he looks like this. I had not seen him feed since I havent seen him for months. I cannot tell if I see any swelling. i did not think a weak fish would act the way he is being upside down with an arched back

It depends on what ails the fish, but being very thin certainly is not helping :(

I would snag some live blackworms if I were you to entice feeding.

He looks weak to me... and @4FordFamily is right, his stomach is very sucked in.

What have you tried feeding him so far?

I just noticed him like this yesterday night so I only grabbed some pellets I had close by to feed him. I just thawed some LRS herivor food to try and feed him now. Should i hand feed him.

Or target feed using a pipette or turkey baster.
