So I just got the Red Sea 525 G2 but apone receiving I knowest the piping is not adequate for my liking also I want to run Animal Bean Styles plumping what do you think?

How did you add a uv light are you running one how do you hook reactors up and other things?

It's all put together now and plumbing is done with red sea pipping I order some 25mm pvc so I can make a manifold

I have a separate Sicce SDC 6.0 pump (60%) that I run with my AquaUltraviolet 57-watt UV and a pair of Nyos Torq reactors that have separate pumps and sit in the same chamber with the skimmer.

From what I read and learned from brs you've installed your UV light wrong and air is in the uv chamber so your not getting the desired uv to your water I'm under the impression it has to be installed straight up and down? Also what size roller mate did you go with the 1200 or the 500? And thank you

Correct, although I don't have any air in my UV (there's a process I go through to purge it that I won't bore you with the details). I'm definitely getting the desired UV sterilization, as when the bulb last year went I started seeing heavy algae growth almost immediately.

I upgraded from the 500 to 1200 as I was just going through too many of the smaller rolls with my bio load (very heavy).

I purchased the roller mate 1200 because it last longer and I also believe it'll last longer
