@Randy Holmes-Farley I have no way to get any form of calcium chloride where I am located in any reasonable or economical way. BRS is now charging me for shipping and the shipping cost is more than the product itself. I was wondering if DampRid will work as I can source this easily. The MSDS on the website indicated the following;
CAS # Hazardous Components (Chemical Name) 3. COMPOSITION/INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS Concentration 10043-52-4 Calcium chloride 70.0 -100.0 % 7647-14-5 Sodium chloride < 3.0 % 7447-40-7 Potassium chloride < 3.0 %

Thoughts, please.

Anybody with scientific or fact-based opinions... anybody?

Can a hardware store order in Dow flake or anything for you?
Cost prohibitive. They will charge you minimum 3x actual shipping and jack the price up over 300% for anything special order AND it will take months to get here...

I see you were once in San Diego. I am still here, born and raised. I’ll PM you.
