I have a pair of humbug damsels that lay very often, after a couple of days the eggs have gone.

They look fertilized. The shiny dots are the embryos. I think. Should I move them or let them take their chances.
Very cool. Congratulations on building the right kind of home. Do you have more than 1?
Yes. The eggs are fertilized. Itsa terrible pic but you can see the embryos in the eggs with a magnifying glass. I've raised several broods of clowns but never damsels. I raised rotifers for the clown babies then powdered flake food and baby brine shrimp later. I wonder I'd the damsels will need the same care? Anyone with experience with raising damsels? I'll move them to their own place today. Will the parents est the babies or protect like a clown?

Raising the damsels would be exactly the same as raising clowns.

Maybe phyto or are rotifers small enough? From the looks of the eggs they're gonna be tiny.
Good friend of mine raises talbots and clowns of all sorts. he uses rotis for all of them and has great success with it. Talbots, being smaller than yellow tails (usually), I would think the rotis would do just fine.

Thanks. I've reared clowns many years ago. I've got a safe place I can isolate the eggs now I've got to find food. I can't culture them in a week. Thanks again. Everything I've read says treat them like clowns. I'll post a pic of any survivors. Lol.

They've done it again. I'm better prepared now. I hope. Lol
