So im slowly doing 10% WC to get my salinity down. It was at about 1.04 lol

Damsels were fine with it that high if anything the extra salt gave them a sugar high

I did 10% water change, let it sit for 24 hrs then did another one.

2 out of the 3 damsels are fine, but theres one thats hiding under a rock and hasnt moved... It wont eat and when i try to see if its stuck it almost guards the little cave it made. I wonder if shes guarding some eggs?? I cant snap a pic because its behind the tank but i can see her in a reflection. Almost pinned under the rock (not really stuck though) and looks like a watchman goby

How did it get that high? If the levels rose quickly the fish could have been injured.

It was me over doing it with the salt at the inital startup of the tank. After a couple water changes ive gotten it down to 1.023 now

It was at about 1.04 not 1.40 so not terribly high, but im a perfectionist... If its off is not right therefore not acceptable. **** you engineering
