Damsel that looks like swallowtail angel

Does anyone know of a type of damsel that looks like a swallowtail angel?

I ordered a swallowtail angel from my LFS. They said they didn't get it in that week, but I went in anyway just to look. Then I saw a fish that looked to me like a swallowtail -- same white, yellow and black colors, two or so inches long. I throught they made a mistake and it was my fish, so I asked what it was. They said it was a very mean old damsel -- not a risk I wanted to take. Unfortunately I neglected to get a picture or species name.

Fast forward a few months and now they have my swallowtail. But I'm worried that if I can't even tell the difference I may end up with that mean old damsel by mistake. So I want to study pictures before I go so I can tell the difference.

Does anyone know of a damsel with that sort of coloration that I might have mistaken for a swallowtail?

no white though.
haven't nailed down a name 100% positive.

What does come to mind though for me is Rolland's Damselfish (Chrysiptera rollandi)++

Better pic. If I recall, for which I have not seen these in years, were called scissortail damsels

Maybe, but I think the stripes art too distinct for me to confuse. But search for that brought up the blue fin damsel. That could be it with the yellow stripe on the back.

I bet it was a bluefin. Looks like the black stripes on the top and bottom of the tail distinguish the swallowtail angel from the bluefin damsel. Any idea if those stripes are pretty unique to the species?

lol, yea on the better pic. my better looking two won't cooperate for a pic.
this is one of two that have bonded in my tank.
I haven't seen any since I got these 3, about 2 years ago.
so far fairly non aggressive.
