I know several of you have experience with Duncan corals. Here's my issue:

Mine was doing fairly well in it's current location, been there for about a month now. The past 3-4 days it has not attempted to come out at all. Do they do this from time to time or is it just not happy? I know my Toadstool did not have any polyp extension for a few weeks, but it doubled it's size during that time and is now out and happy every day. Do Duncans do this as well?

It's in low to medium light, light to medium flow, gets plenty of food passing by it.

Salinity 1.025
Temp 79
PH 7.95
DKH 10
CAL 425
P03 0.03
Nitrate <5ppm

Suggestions? It's between 2 zoa frags but each is at about 6 inches apart from the Duncan itself.

Mine done that a couple times. Then it comes back out. Hasnt done it in a whike since i movex him into more flow

Maybe I need to move it again... This will be the third attempt! Will wait another day or two and see. It's gotta come out to eat sooner or later right? I also see it has 2 or 3 new heads forming so that is a good sign right?

Thats definetly a good sign. Mine stayed closed up for dsys then would open back up. After this last move it hasn't closed up again except when

oooh the suspense. When....... what???

This Duncan is very sensitive for some reason. I'll try moving it once more in the near future and see what happens.

Ok, so the duncan came out yesterday and I spot fed it cyclops and mysis shrimp and today it is looking the best I have every seen it. Guess I'll try and spot feed it at least once a week from here forward.
