But what about an elevated sand bed in the reef. A second bed if you will but for clams??!!

Thanks, wanted to wait a bit to show anyone but thought it was pretty cool and couldn't hold back. Can't wait for some rics and zoos to grow in around them.

One of my favorite tanks was Leonardo's fermosa forest tank where small live rock was only used to anchor corals. It looks like a frag tank, but to me it looks like the top of the reef.

Those blennies are too cool....That is a cool idea to Rob.....I like the "drop" off tank to I posted a link to....A member( Stunreefer) here also posted another one as well from England that is a drop off..

yeah i saw that volcano reef on NR. looks awesome.

i wonder if it could incorporate more of a vivarium-type system with salty grasses and stuff. that'd be truly awesome. maybe even an ATO system that trickles FW down the side for some type of land dwelling creature...

the ATO is a great idea! I think i really am going to try this out, except probably a little smaller size tank though
