Daniel's 125g mixed reef tank[/h]
My 125g has been setup since ~March 2013. I started reefing in 2009. I have had a 30g, then a 75g, then a 40g, and now a 125g. I am very happy with the size and flexibility the 125g provides. My system is ~225g total. I have a 100g acrylic sump/refugium. The huge volume of water compared to my previous tanks provides substantial stability to the parameters.

Fish (and date purchased):

Orange Ocellaris Clownfish (2009)
Black Ocellaris Clownfish (2011)
Yellow Tang (March 2013)
Blue Damsel (2008)
Starry Blenny (2009)
Wheeler's Goby (2011)
Orchid Dottyback (Dec 2013)
Regal Blue Tang (Dec 2013)
Blue/Green Reef Chromis x2 (Dec 2013)

My oldest corals are my war coral, orange richordea yuma, the multi-color chalice, montipora setosa & the elegance coral. All were grown out from tiny frag size pieces. They have survived several tank crashes and been with me since 2009/2010.

I want to do mainly clams on the left top rock. And I'd like a "euphyllia garden" on the right top rock.

Then, if everything keeps going well, maybe grab a few large colony SPS from the diver's den.

Here's a close up of my recently purchased ORA gold maxima. It's has attached and spun it self 90degrees since placement. I like his colors. I think my next one will be a green Crocea.

I'm working on an order from Pacific east aquaculture. After this I'm putting myself on coral probation! Ive spent at least 2 house payments in the past two weeks..... Still cheaper than a GF at Christmas!!!

Looking good!

3" Aussie Violet Blast Acropora
3.5" Purple Fungia Plate
3" Pink Acropora Millepora
6" Purple Polyp Montipora Danae (yellow ridges)
1.5" Blue Green Acropora
1.5" Bird of Paradise Bird's Nest
? Large Frag Pink Bird's Nest
1.5" Phonape Bird's Nest

This along with the big hammer I ordered from another site...

Definitely on coral probation!

The only complaint I have with Pacificeastaquaculte.com is the "hidden" 10$ handling fee. No where on the site does it mention the fee. Then right before you checkout -- BAM!

10$ isn't a major deal, but I had an exact amount I wanted to spend. And after an hour of perfectly crafting my order, it totally screwed me up! But with the "Santa" code I did save over 50$ plus the normal savings of 50$ for the order size.

i really like how that undata is growing over the sand ,bottom great looking tank bud !

Thank you! Me too, I got another similar one on the way. I want them to take over that middle area. The new one should be comparable in size too. It's a yellow base with purple polyps. I might move the current one forward a bit if there's not enough room behind it. Hopefully it wont be too mad at me (if I have to move it).

I'd love to get a sunset, superman, jedi mindtrick & mystic sunset montipora too. If anyone ever wants to trade some cuts... :-) They're just to pricy from vendors. 1/2 inch frags don't make me happy :-( (especially not for $40+).
