Does anyone own one , if so how to make it quiet ?

The magnet impellar is probably no good,what happens with these and others is the magnet swells ,causing the shaft to rotate unbalanced.i use to use Serra pumps on my skimmers,same problem had to. Replace impellar every year

It's just a vibrating noise !!

Then place a rubber mouse pad under it,my neighbor had the same problem,she switched to a dc pump when the mag got bad,zero noise

I think I will try the jebao dc 15000 dc pump

That's what she bought,,the mag was so loud,you will be amazed in the sound difference

It had a mag 24 for a return for a while. It's just a loud pump, I even put a 2" foam padding under it and it still made the vibration noise. I replaced it with the jecod dct12000 and completely happy I did

What size union fitting did you screw to your output on the dc 12000 ?

I think it was a 1 1/4" coupler then reduced to 3/4"

Yeah I ran one on my 180 in the garage, unbelievably loud! I thought it needed to break in but never did. I just use it to mix salt now.
