Danner Mag 5 Replacement for Remora Pro S protein skimmer

My Mag 5, which drives my Remora Pro S protein skimmer, is getting very noisy. Anyone replace Mag5 with Sicce SK or PKS 600?

Both of those pumps are skimmer replacement pumps and I believe they come with a needle wheel. You need a pressure pump as the remora has that becket style injection. I believe the Sicce Syncra Silent 2.0 would be a good choice. It is a few gph more. But it will be supper quieter and more efficiant than that mag pump.

I replace my original return pumps with Sicce Syncra. Great pump, easy to maintain, and quiet. Thanks for the suggestion
