Hey guys just figured I'd add a few pictures of my tank! This is my first saltwater tank and so far i'm loving it! I've had freshwater planted tanks for about 15 years and I finally decided to make the change and it is awesome!

Two Hydor Koralia EVO 750/850
Hydor Slim Skim
BuildMyLED 48" 14k Fixture
Two T5HO DIY bulb's

One Purple Firefish
Exquisite Fairy Wrasse
Blue Cheeked Goby
Tail Spot Blenny
5 Saphire Damsels

Corals;
Two different types of Pulsing Xenia
4 ricordea yuma
Assortment of Zoa's
Neon green candy canes
Branching Hammerhead
Three acans
Toadstool
Green star polyps
And a few mystery lps

I love the dimensions of your tank. I had a 33 long, same footprint, too shallow. I had a 55 gallon, same footprint, too tall. 40 long, just the right height.

What kind of snail is that? Very pretty shell.

How long has that putty been thee holding your corals? I'm interested in using it over Cg (which I've not been successful using). I hear that the putty gets algae fairly quickly. So I am wondering how long you've had that in there.

Thanks! The snail is a tiger nassarius snail. Very cool shell indeed! I like him because of the red flesh he's got. It goes from dark red to a lighter red and looks amazing in person. As for the putty it should take a few weeks to a month for it to totally blend into the rocks. The putty that you see was put in about two days ago lol. I was thinking of getting cg but i haven't seen many others using it.
