Great thread and tons of great ideas. What made you decide to go back to sand? I loved how clean the setup was without the sand, but I think it really brought in more depth with the sand.

Thank you ya i liked it without sand but it was a lot more work without sand and i couldn't get the po4 and no3 high enough it was so low nutrient even when i was feeding alot and dosing different foods to bring it up macro would die and acros are pale and i also miss the look of sand it just creates a more complete look and you're correct i was able to change the depth perception having sand.

This one is doing really well eating great and getting fat my kueteri wrasse

This one i am not to sure what it is but its coloring up hard to get the color to show but its mint green with pink and purple tips and red polyps

Took a pic of this one polyps are out soon as i dropped some AA and some powder food can't remember name right now.

I like my view while i eat dinner

A little update after returning from a 3 week vacation my tank had some issues found out it was the dosing pump caused the alk fluctuating . To make it worst same day when we got back my grandma's condition has taken a turn for the worst. She was like a mother to me took care of me when i was young and intill i was a teenager, i lost interest in the tank for a bit due to all things going on. Lost a few pieces and some browned out alagae took over when i was gone. Finally got cleaned up and we all know aquascape doesn't go back to its original position once you take it out and scrub it unless they are glued together. So with being said did a litte bit of cleaning up and reaquascape. Looking good so far things are coloring back up got things dialed back in. Hope it looks ok . Thanks for stopping by

To be honest my friend its ok but i miss my mp40 i had better random flow with the mp40 dont get me wrong its a strong pump but i miss having it controlled by my apex and with alot more flow patterns.

One of my favorite fish a pair of multibar angelfish. Lots of personality. Gonna go into my display. Just need an achiles and a borbonious anthias and a black tang and my fish list is done.
