Great thread and tons of great ideas. What made you decide to go back to sand? I loved how clean the setup was without the sand, but I think it really brought in more depth with the sand.

Thank you ya i liked it without sand but it was a lot more work without sand and i couldn't get the po4 and no3 high enough it was so low nutrient even when i was feeding alot and dosing different foods to bring it up macro would die and acros are pale and i also miss the look of sand it just creates a more complete look and you're correct i was able to change the depth perception having sand.Great thread and tons of great ideas. To be honest my friend its ok but i miss my mp40 i had better random flow with the mp40 dont get me wrong its a strong pump but i miss having it controlled by my apex and with alot more flow patterns.Looking very nice. How are you liking the Maxspect Gyre? Is that the 130?
