Dap silicone?

Has anyone used this for their sump?DAP 100% Silicone Rubber Sealant I saw after i did the baffles that it says not recommended for continuous underwater use :sad:

Doe it say natural cure or neutral cure??? Is it glass to glass???

Hey I actually did they IMO put that on there so you'll buy their overpriced aquarium series silicone my sump is still holding water

Good point troylee but I used that stuff and GE silicone and neither has failed my sump is glass

Yeah that's true but I wish he could post a picture of the tube but I'm sure I remember reading that on the stuff I used but good point on the two types didn't even think of that

Hey just checked the link that's the bad stuff wouldn't use that ! Dap make aquarium safe stuff that has the same ingredients as their clear 100% silicone

Its glass to glass, Ill have to check if it says natural or neutral cure when i get home. It says on the tube that is safe for Use around food or someting like that..

just use ge silicone 1 clear window and door without the fungicide

Look like ill be scraping some silicone today then...
