dark green algae and other algae

so I have been getting alot of green algae and some brown algae (which is coming back) for awhile now and not sure when this starts to die down. I hope i do not sound impatient, but just wondering when this ugly phase ends. I have had the tank for 3 months and everything is good so far, even my snail and hermit crab shells have been turning purple and red.

Could take months longer until coralline takes over. This is a pretty shade of green. Brown is another color option for new surfaces.
