Discovered this fella and think it's a Chiton but it's dark red and I haven't heard of one that color, It's segemented with a hard shell and a soft underside like a slug/snail...

Well, this is a post mortem investigation now, while trying to dislodge it with a bamboo skewer it got impaled!
