Just wanted to give everyone a heads up about educating the family about do's and don'ts of the aquarium. The daughter cleaned the glass of the tank last night with the magnet/glass scraper. Not a big deal right???
Well.... When I walked in late last night I had noticed that the corner of the rock pile that the diamond goby usually has all dug out and substrate spread everywhere was filled in. So I said, oh the goby decided to move homes? And the daughter replied with, "I pushed all the gravel back down and into the rocks for you, it looked like a mess"... :twitch:
UH OH!!!! I hope she didn't bury the goby in his little condo he had built himself. Not sure if he was in there, not sure if he can dig himself out..?? I attempted my best to pull a lot of the substrate back away from the rock pile but still couldn't get it all out from under the rock where he usually hangs out.
I didn't see him this morning but I rarely see him in the morning. Hopefully I'll see him when I get home tonight.
Moral of the story... Teach them kids/family members the what is acceptable and what is not.
