Darn power company shut off our power!!!

Me and my younger brother were doing school when all of a sudden, the power turned off! Thankfully i have a battery backup for my tank,but my Mom called the county and they said the power wouldn't be back on till 2o because they wanted to check some equipment and they didn't even tell us:mad::mad::mad::mad: We may roast before then considering it's 90 degrees here!

Geez, nice of them to inform you of a planned outage. You can float bags of ice in the tank if it starts getting too hot.

The power came back on around 12:00 and everything is fine.....other than all of the tank inhabitants being confused

Before they close the thread. I just want to say that I'm super happy everything worked out. I had a power failure about 4 years ago and my corals all survived but lost all my fish. Good on you for having a battery backup. That lesson has been lost in this thread, and I think is so important.
