Dart Pump mounting

I know we usually just have the sitting in the bottom or behind the stand, is there any reason why one can't be mounted sideways?

I want to mount it on a side panel and have all the closed loop piping above the sump.

I would think the dart would be fine mounting it sideways as I have seen other branded pumps mounted this way.
