Hi!
I have a small frag if Darth mauls that have gone from one polyp to four in about six weeks. I noticed about a week ago that one of the bigger polyps looked a little shrunken, like the edges were folded down maybe... it went for a few days, so I thought maybe the light was too intense, so I moved it down. They all stayed shut for three days, I read that my lighting is not too extreme, so I moved it back up, close to where it’s done well, and basted it just to make sure nothing was on it. For the past four days I’ve only seen one polyp open, and it generally closes back up quickly. I don’t know if it’s just that made about being moved a foot down and back up, or what’s going on?

Anyone experience this? How long can they stay closed?

FYI, I don’t think it’s parameters, they have been stable. Have lots of other zoas (and 40 other frags looking great).

Salinity 1.0255
Calc 480
Alk 11.2
Ph. 8.3
Nitrate 2
Phos. Close to undetectable with API...

I feed roids bi-daily and pretty heavily feed fish.

Any other questions, just let me know, and thanks for your help.

And just so you can see placement, center right, near the top (which is only maybe halfway up)

Try changing the location of the Darth mauls. For example, if it was placed mid of the tank, try bottom of the tank. If it was place w a lot of flow, try w less flow.
