Darth Mauls?

I am getting a bit of change from selling fry from my FW fishies and wanted to purchase some uber nice zoas/palys so I went digging through the sponsors and found some Darth Mauls.

I found them on OceanInBox but comparing the picture of the DarthMauls they look nothing like all the pictures I am finding on various forums.

Are they the same?

Don't look like what I call Darth Mauls either. Buy based on what they look like, not everyone uses the same name for the same morph.

I just got a Darth Maul and I didn't think it was what I had seen as a Darth Maul online.Really doesn't matter what ever it is its very nice.The wrath god is by far the best look palys I have seen.

i also was looking into both of those from OIB, but im not sure they are darth mauls. didnt think DM had any green in them...but im not sure.

The oceaninabox DM's are definitely not Darth Mauls

Here is a side by side comparison of yours and mine. Mine are NOT DM's by liniage, but I venture to say they are the same paly by genus.

didn't find them on the site anymore.. I guess the WoG and these guys sold out eh?

The WOG's are a sold out edition for now but I have several different colonies of these type that all have a little different appeal to them. Some have more black, some have neon green center. Each one is a direct morph of the DM type paly. I can take a picture of any one of them and you wouldnt see any closer picture on zoaid except for the DM. Personally, I think even the WOG is a morph of this variety. I hate to beat a dead horse but it's like the Orange Envy discussions. Although no one has wanted to admit all the new OE that have sprung up lately are the same morph as the original unless it has the claim to fame from the original person that named it, people just dont want to recognize it. Thats perfectly fine with me.

whatever you guys want to call them, I like them all...

the only concern I have for these guys is melting... I've owned a few different frags and have done well for a few weeks but end up melting a few weeks after... I hope as a whole, we can figure out a way to keep 'em thriving... they really remind me of the True Armageddon.. very finicky...
