Dave's 93g cube

A couple more. Though it don't look like it, I cleaned up the equipment cabinet a bit. Got the apex monitor on the top.

For the life of me I can't get rid of the algae on the sand bed. Even after I syphon it out it comes right back
Keep a close eye on nitrates and phosphates...generally that is the reason for the Algae.

I had a month long battle with Dinos, as my nitrates and phosphates were flip flopped.

My nitrates are consistently between 5 and 10 and phosphate about .03. The algae on the sand just won't go away lol

So I went on vacation for a week, ran out of fresh water during that time and almost crashed the tank. Luckily I got back just in the nick of time. The space invader isn't too happy with me, hopefully it will pull through ok.

Very nice tank. Reminds me of my old tank i had 7 years ago. A chair hit a corner and popped a small leak so had to tear down. It was a marineland corner overflow with same dims as yours

I wanted to ask about flow for a 90 gallon cube. What does everyone use for powerheads in their tank?
I use two ice cap 2k gyro pumps mounted vertically on each back wall of the tank, as well a jabao sow pump on the back wall mounted lower down. It works fine but still think it could be better. I'm just to lazy to keep playing with it.

Still chugging along! Though I would like to move some things around and trade many of the fish for some different ones. With a higher number of smaller fish, I think it would make the tank a bit more lively!

Well the bottom seal of the tank gave out yesterday while I was at work. So much water everywhere, had water coming out of the fixtures in my basement. Salvaged as much as I could in a brute can but I have no where to transfer to, no extra tank. Sad day, rip tank
