Mounted a little Marineland led unit under the stand over the refugium section just encase I decide to put some chaeto or something in there lol, It acually lights it up pretty good!

Im hoping 3 weeks not sure I can go any longer than that lol.......I am picking up the last of my equipment tomorrow so I can start placing it all and work on plumbing and I just finished building an add on to my stand to house all the equipment.

Let me know how that Fiji pink works for you and if it gets kicked up alot with your Vortech.

Haha I know what ya mean! I waited about 3 weeks for mine, And I forgot to update that I'm not gunna be using the Vortech on this build instead I'll be using two Wp25s, But I will let ya know if they kick up to much sand.

Well today Iv been sick so haven't got as much done as I wanted to, I finished the plumbing and got my light hanger installed in the ceiling, Right now I'm making water and filling the tank up so I can mix salt overnight, If I can get the water perfect by tomorrow then I'll put all my rock in the tank, It's rock that's already cured so I don't wanna take a chance of shocking the bacteria or anything like that don't want it to cause a mini cycle. I'll have updated pics coming soon!

Do you have another tank that you are transferring to this one, or is this a completely new build? Either way I'm excited to see it wet.

I have a bunch of coral and rock that im transferring from another tank, I was thinking about starting fresh but decided not to lol,And thanks man! Glad your following.

That power supply looks as big as my battery backup for my Vortech....I didn't realize it was so large.

It is big! Lol that's the one thing I wish ecotech would change is the size of there power supply.

That's mounted awful close to the sump top and doser.
You worried about salt creep/splashes/ or something leaking from the dosing pump?

Nope not at all and a leak from the dosing pump couldn't come close to the power supply, The pump slowly drips when it comes on and would drip down not sideways.
