This guy davidsuli, bought 3 corals from me, space invader pectina, jf jack o lantern, purple rainbow delight palys. I prefer to ship ups since they are more reliable but I do offer usps too if the buyer wants to save some money, but I do warn that usps isn't as reliable. Davidsuli chooses usps as the carrier, and of course there is a shipping mishap and the corals do not arrive overnight, rather they are delayed a day and do land in davidsuli's hand after 2 days. The space invader pectina and palys are flawless, but the jf jack o lantern is a little stressed out. Davidsuli pm's me immediately to inform me and sends me pictures. The coral is stressed out, but from my experience it's not going to die. Everyone knows lps are pretty darn hardy. I told him the coral is stressed due to being the bag for 2 days, but weather conditions were in our favor so it'll bounce back. He demands that I refund him. I said first of all, the corals isn't dead. So throw doa out the window, you don't get refunds for corals arrving stressed out. On top of that coral was a little stressed out. On a scale from 1 to 10, I'd say stress level was a 4.
He also says that the palys dont look like my picture, I tell him if our lights are different then it won't look exactly the same. He says he doesn't like them, so I offer to refund him for the palys if he sends them back. Then he says I have to pay for shipping, I explain to him that he has to pay for shipping back to me. He doesn't want to send them back, rather he wants to keep them and have a refund. Sorry it doesn't work that way.
In hindsight, I realized that davidsuli asked me send him a paypal invoice to pay for items, rather than just sending me the money. I found that if you have a negative balance in your paypal account, a way to avoid bringing your balance current is to have an invoice sent to you and you can sign in as a guest to pay. This way you paypal account can still be in bad standing while you still send money. Hmm....is davidsuli's paypal account in bad standing? Or just coincidence. That I don't know, I can only speculate and wonder.
I sense a scam, and refuse to be bullied. He threatens to file paypal claim, if I don't refund him $185 (oh and by the way he wants to keep the corals too, :tsk
. That day he files a paypal claim.
I'll have to wait to see how this paypal claim turns out, as of now my account is negative the funds davidsuli initially sent me because paypal placed a hold on it.
Sellers....beware of davidsuli.
