Previously the site said version 2.0 would be announced this fall, but I don't see this on the old davy jone's page. Has the plan for version 2.0 been forced to walked the plank?

Yes, that was our original plan. Unfortunately, the project was delayed, and the timeline was pushed back. Rather than providing an updated timeline, we decided it would be best to fully discontinue the product. We hope to offer a radically different solution in the future.....
