Dawn's 36g Bowfront tank

simply beautiful Dawn. I'm sure the pagota will stop being stubborn and eventually get used to it!

The pagota did look better yesterday so I feel encouraged that it'll adjust. How are wedding plans coming along, are you and Sarah pretty much ready for the big day?

Hahahaha it's not as weird as it sounds. The chick told us to find a picture of a cake that we want and send it to her and that will be our cake. So we did and it turns out that it's going to cost extra. I knew it was too good to be true to be able to just pick ANY cake. Anyway she's going to see if she can modify it to fit within our package. Here's a picture of it.

Very cute! Can't say I ever saw a wedding cake like yours. Is the little cake the robot is holding for you and Sarah to eat on your 1st anniversary?

Its tradition-you save the top layer of your wedding cake, wrap it real good and keep it in the freezer to eat on your first anniversary!

Here's some pics with the lights on of the new rock work. I am planning on getting an RBTA since I opened up the center of the rock work with lots of crevices for a nem's foot. Of course what are the chances it'll settle where I want?LOL

Tomato clowns are not picky about picking a host. This lil' guy has hosted the hammer and now the wellso brain so I'm thinking he'll be real happy to have a real nem!

that would be awesome! I plan on getting a clown / nem pair when I get back from the states. So far the BTA is my fav nem. Not sure on which clown yet though.

Well, I picked up my RBTA yesterday. Someone from our local reef forum/club is tearing down his tank and he had 5-6 to choose from for $15. My husband had to acclimate him as I had another commitment. The nem attached itself to the bag and Dave didn't know to very gently pry him loose. Hopefully he's OK, he doesn't look too bad this morning. I'll try to get pics today.

Well, here he is; Rosey the RBTA. I also picked up some blue clove polyps. Some very nice additions to my tank!

good deal! is the nem settled into the spot you wanted it in?

I don't know if he's settled but he is still there. My clownfish has buddied up to him so that seems good.

So I am scrutinizing my tank last night, (as us aquarists tend to do) and I saw the freakiest thing I ever saw! I have a dead coral skeleton, rubble size that I stick different place to plug holes. I've had it in my tanks as long as I can remember. A week or so ago, I guess after I tweaked the rock work, I moved it up to the top under the skimmer spillway to plug a hole. I think the thing is sprouting!!! It sure looks like live tissue. I'll take a pic as soon as it gets a little bigger. I'm guessing the skeleton was a bird's nest but I'm not sure. We will see!

so many things make this hobby interesting! congrats on the nem hosting the clown and perhaps finding a new creature/coral :)

Rosey the nem moved up a little higher in the tank which is perfect. Now he is right between the hammer and the duncan but each have room to stretch their tentacles. He's in better flow and light too. If he stays put it couldn't be better!
