Good morning! I have a yellow eye Kole Tang and a racoon butterfly that have been in QT since arrival 14 days ago. Introduced all of the fish directly into tank with 1.0 Copper via CP, havent seen any signs of anything other than some bacterial infections, so I am transferring to another tank. They have been fed food soaks in GC, and the water has been treated with Kanaplex + Furan-2 for 10 days. All others are eating. They have now been through a freshwater dip as well. Any ideas? I have been feeding a mix of live black worms, frozen, and pellet. The butterfly will eat aiptasia off of rocks, so there is at least that, but he wont eat anything else and I am afraid he will starve out.

Any insight would be awesome.

the tang is a herbivore. plant/algae.

Yea I have tried algae of 3 sorts. But if you have had one these before, they are constantly mouthing surfaces and he isnt doing any of that. Something is going on. Just not sure what it might be if I cant see it.

Try getting some fresh clams or oysters and rubber banding it to a rock or attach it to a veggie clip. I have had success getting butterflies eating this way in the past.
Also reef Frenzy would be great too if you haven't tried it yet.
Is the tang picking at the rocks/glass in the tank at all? Kole tangs tend to be a bit shy when first introduced and while in qt. I had one that didn't eat anything while in qt for over 3 weeks. but was picking at the glass and objects. Once in display it started eating almost anything i out in the tank.

He isnt picking at anything or eating anything I put in. Not really sure what his deal is. Swimming fine, no signs of bacterial, it has to be something internal. Been using GC now for 4 days with Spectrogram, but still nothing.

are they currently in copper and GC now? It might be all the medication that's making him not eat.
If you are just doing a prophylactic treatment, maybe stop and do a large water change and run carbon to get all the meds out. and see if it starts eating.
