Day 8, small brown spots

When I left for work the tank was crystal clear. When I got home small brown spots have formed on all the sand and rock. What is this?

Well good. I hope that means my cycle is progressing! It's been a while since I cycled a tank

Yep, diatoms will give way to green hair then that should go away as well. May get some cyano at some point
