I'm debating one right now. My tank is setup for sps so lots of flow and led lighting that runs pretty hot. Tell me your experiences and show me some pictures. I really like this thing just don't wanna kill it.

if your afraid your lights are going to melt it place it on a low rock and it will move to where it will be happiest every bubble tip I have has moved to where it is happiest

I'm worried about flow a bit I'm also leary about what it's going to kill if it wanders around on me. Same things most people worry about. Is the risk worth the reward of the coolness? Lol. Am I going to hate myself in the end. I really love the idea. My clowns look sad without a home. Ha

I never see clones or pics for sale other than neptunes cove. So I'm really interested in this thread! Please post pics!

I'm really hoping there's some people that have experience that can lead me in the right direction! I know nothing in the nem field! These things look amazing though just really wanna make a good decision.

Or just any nem experiences would be great. Idc if it's a dayglow. I probably won't be able to find one even if I decide to get one probably have to go with a rainbow there way more available.

I have a pretty much sps dominant tank, high light and high flow middle and top, and my rbta seems quite happy near the bottom fixed to a piece of twisted tonga rock.

I've been in the same spot as you for a long time, trigger shy. I'm mostly just scared of them moving around and stinging higher priced coral. I've read though if you drill a good hole in a rock for their foot, that will encourage them to stay put. In general, I've never even seen what you just posted, very pretty.

imo & ime, "dayglows" that have the highlighter florescent look to them are faded.... ever seen a rose bta fade and turn "dayglow"?ever see a lfs get in a shipment of bta's and some have that bright highlighter look to them? i have. lol i learned to stay away from them. they either didn't make it long term, or they gained color and lost the "dayglow" look once they got healthy. imo, that's about like selling a "white sebae". once it gets healthy it turns green / tan.

if you are going to try one, i would advise seeing it in person to look it over. things can look awesome in a pic, and be a totaly different ballgame in person.

maybe i just haven't seen any true "dayglows". lol although, i collected bta's for awhile, had dozens, and noticed patterns.

Here is my DayGlo when I got her.

My male clownfish decided he loved her SO much, he had to spend all his time in her wiggling about. Unfortunately the 'nem was a bit small and delicate, and this almost killed her.
You can read all about that here- http://wamas.org/forums/topic/63589-please-help-my-anemone

Here is that same anemone this past week, over a year since she was almost murdered.

(Put the camera in the water for this shot)

She is still recovering. However she is VERY healthy and happy these days and can handle the clown fish (although the RBTA's help). I do not know if she will ever get her "glow" back, I have a feeling she wont.
This anemone has been under Build My LED lights (1 reef spectrum fixture and 1 super actinic fixture) for her entire time with me.

Happy to try and answer any questions people might have about these guys.
