Not sure if this was asked already but do you guys change the time on your lights to go on an hour later? I haven’t changed mine yet. I woke up this morning and realized my lights weren’t on but it’s because they aren’t automatic with the time.

Agree with @Softhammer but if dst interferes with viewing or feeding your tank, no harm if you adjust over the next 10 days or so. Just move the start and end time by 6 minutes each day.

Fish like my chickens go to bed at sundown and I get up with the chickens

I never bothered with changing the time to coincide with daylight savings time. I just stayed consistent with feedings.

I change mine with the time. If I didn't it would bother me to no end knowing that it's not 1130 when they have been coming on. I do it all at once, today they got to bask in the warm glow of t5s an hour earlier than normal. 6 months from now they have to wait an extra hour.

I always ask my fish what they want to do by taking a vote by them raising a fin up if they want the time change

It usually starts a big argument....then I have to step in and "be the Parent"

This is my first time with the tank with daylight savings. I'm just going to leave it alone.

I havent bothered. My lights are ramping up when I leave for work and completely ramped down by the time I go to bed. Plenty of time after work to view, feed, and maintain the tank before lights outs. IME, the corals and fish dont care as long as they get the light and food they need.

I change mine but usually wait a month or so when there is more overall daylight throughout the day.

I don't change mine at all... My fish and corals are used the the lighting schedule, no need to stress them... Even though probably would not be a big deal either way.

First of all DST adds an hour of daylight in the evening to the warmer months NOT adding an hour of daylight in the evening to winter. The savings of daylight comes to us in the warmer months. The idea here was to give farmers an hour more of daylight in the evening to save time for more farming in the growing seasons. I know this as a farmer myself. I know there's a choice in Fusion as to ignore the savings of daylight in the farmer's growing season (DST). If you choose to ignore the observance of DST when you choose that option in the summer while the savings time is going on, does the changing of time (set back an hour in the winter) not happen? And what if you choose this option in the winter when the saving of daylight is not observed? (BTW, DST lasts about 8 months while "normal" time is only about 4 months (winter) which is half that many months.)

The reason I ask is (and @Terence could chime in here) when I had my Apex Classic, I had a heck of a time (pun intended) setting up Fusion to ignore DST. I don't know if they changed that in Apex 2016. What was especially screwed up was the OSC command. If you tried to change it in the winter it wouldn't change over to the hour difference in summer. Anyone else experience this?
