How many people change their timmers during daylight savings?

I have a total of 4 timmers way back in the nether regions of my tank. Not really wanting to change them

My Apex has it set to auto change. Got up today and everything was already set.

My aquaticlife fixture resets itself, but you have to tell it when to....so kinda pointless. I just leave mine the way they are, the fish and corals don't know the difference.

Pick you up a RKL controller for $100. You'll kick yourself for not doing it a LONG time ago!

but speaking of has anyone actually tried to put your lights on a realistic time scale . like in the summer the days are longer and winter shorter so does anyone run their lights in the same manner? or does an apex have the ability to mock exact sunrise/sunset for that day? i know they have some kinda moonlight feature that does that.

The Apex has the Seasons Option where you can set your lights to the actual Sunrise/Sunset times for any area of the world. I have tried this and with M/H T5HO it was way too long of a Photo period and caused algae issues, But you can adjust the time by reducing the on/off times on the program but then your really not following the actual real time on the Reef. Their Moonlight setting follows the real phase of the moon, But this also has your moonlights on in the Daytime half the time.

Does the apex wireless send info to the radion lights and vortech pumps. Just wondering how the APEx controls these devices for daylight savings and such

Maybe you guys are better computer guys than me but I couldn't figure how to work my apexJR at all?? I couldn't even figure out how to set it up on my computer or iphone

The pre-populated channel names are very confusing, but if you play with it a little you will get the hang of it.
