Do you guys change up your lighting and dosing to go with the 1 hour changes throughout the year or let it ride?

Ideally the same consistent routine makes sense, but now my tank would be shutting lights off at 8 which would be pretty early! Just adjusted my light timer and dosing pumps to match.

I changed mine this year. I think next year I may leave it since now it'll fluctuate between lights off at 9 and 10 rather than 8 and 9. 20:00 is a bit early if I don't get home until closer to then some days.

Change lights to match your convenience. Your fish and corals won't be harmed in any way.

I don't change my dosers, as i don't see the point.

I never taught my fish how to tell time. They won't notice if I change my settings by an hour.

I had a buddy who I used to hunt with who always swore daylight savings screwed the deer up if their patterns changed. Every time he would say it everyone within ear shot had the same reaction...raised eyebrows, tilted heads, and without fail someone would pipe up "Nothing's changed for them, deer can't tell time!"

Changed mine with the time. I have a hard time believing that an hour change in lighting schedule twice a year is actually going to cause even a tiny bit of problems.

My lighting timers are setup for my viewing pleasure. I don't really use alarm clocks, but my anemone tank in bedroom lets me know when it's after 10:30am as that's when the lights come on. And it probably means I should start getting my lazy butt out of bed soon.

I always adjust the lights to the new time. Fish and corals don’t notice and tank better aligns to my schedule.

Going on 4+ years with AIs and letting them automatically adjust with no perceivable effects. Either way, my aquarium sits in the living room so regardless of when they turn on the ambient light in the living room wakes everything up. Looks pretty happy to me
