Thanks guys, it was definitely a stressful ordeal. So far everything is alright with the exception of some fish drama. I also need to run some tests on my water tonight because right now i'm just guessing at the amount of 2 part i'm using.
I think on Monday i am going to order the new display but i'm torn on what i should get..
48x36x24?
or
54x36x24? (i would have to extend the stand i have with this length but that shouldn't be a big deal.)
What do you guys think?

go bigger when you can. your fishes will enjoy the extra length.
thats what i was thinking as well... BUT i just received the quote for the bigger size and its way out of my price range. So scratch that, i guess its going to have to be the 48x36x24.. dang it

Yeah i'm definitely stoked on the size, i cant wait to have enough room in my system to do whatever i want and 180g will definitely give me the room.
I've got some killer ideas for the scape.

So this is roughly what the new system will look like, plan view. I am hoping to get the sump plumbed in this weekend because i have aout 60+ pounds of rock in a trash can that needs a stable home.. AND i am ordering the new display on monday!

Maybe, a cascading wall down from the over flow and then a shallower island on the other side.

Haha yeah everyone wants islands. I just can't think of any other way to do it since its going to be viewable from 3 sides.
It's going to be kinda like the 2 islands in my old 120g but complete islands, peninsula style.
plus i need HECKA room for colonies, ive got a few big ones looking for new real-estate
