I picked up a tank set up and it came with a dc-6000, well I have it all the way on the highest setting and it is no where close to putting out 1500 gph as they state they can at the highest setting.

Is there something I can do or is a dying pump?

the 1500 is with 0 head. As soon as you need to push water up 4 feed and have some bends in the PVC it all adds head to the pump and lowers the GPH rating.

Well my run is about 4 ft at most and its a straight shot with only one bend where it enters the
tank

If its hardly anything then I'd take it apart for a cleaning.

When I was using mine I had it at the 3/4 setting and it was plenty to push the water up 3.5' with two 90 degree bends. I upgraded to a S1 and use the DC-6000 as a back up. Try a good cleaning and see if that helps.
Sent you PM

Fyi, my DC12000 with 5ft of head would only push about 1200gph at 100%
I think you may be over estimating the capabilities of a 6000.
