Just a question, how do we as members of this hobby convince the industry to move away from ridiculously sized and shaped DC Plugs that block more than one outlet on a powerbar? It can't be that much more expensive for Tunze to use a standard plug so my osmolator does have a goofy plug.

It would be nice, wouldn't it? Not many people want a separate DC power supply, either. The rectifiers can often be included in the controllers, but that also adds to the heat load of the controller so that is less than ideal since it makes the controllers even larger and/or reduce its life expectancy. That would leave us with a regular plug, a small brick like used in a laptop, a controller, and then the device. There just isn't an elegant solution.
