I want to get a DC controllable pump that has very low output to high output range.

Say 100gph to 1500gph

I want to run it at the normal low setting for most of the day, say at the 100gph setting. Then blast it at full throttle 1500gph for 10 to 15 minutes of the day to demulm it.

Instead of pumping daily.

Are these available now? Which pump would do this?

Has anyone else done this?

Was it successful?

I will be setting up two tanks. One will be a 50 gallon grow-out QT tank upstairs. The other is an Elos 120XL, 126 gallons, going in downstairs.

Now I plan on the big one to be Apex driven. What kind of distance can the head unit be from the pump control module? I am assuming that the headunit and the modules are wireless of course.

This company grabbed my idea.

But the build quality? Sheesh. At least I know theres a pump and controller for it.

What happened to Vertex? It is quality materials and workmanship.

I get out for a few years and the quality companies, Elos too, have folded up their tents.

Maybe I won’t do Zeo on both tanks. I need to find my reactors.

I just purchased the Skimz zeo reactor. Build quality is good. I plan to install it tomorrow. Can update you if you are interested.
