Dc return pump recommendations

Looking to replace my current return pump. It does the job but is loud and is driving the wife crazy. Would like a dc pump with wave mode. Looking for recommendations without breaking the bank.

Oh and the display is a standard 29gal with a 10gal sump. Currently keeping hammer, stylo, zoas, acans, xenia, gsp. Also using a aquamai kps for flow. Thanks!

Current Loop dc are popular about 150 if thats what you have it should be quiet

I have a 29g display and 10g sump also and I'm running the Reef Octopus Varios-2. So far it's been a great little dc return pump and is the quietest thing in my system. I cant even hear it. Also plenty of power and is adjustable on the controller.

I love my Current Eflux pump and they have good HP.

I am not personally a fan of DC pumps, but if I had to use one for this application, I would choose a Tunze 1073.50. I only really trust Royal Exclusive and Tunze to build DC stuff that lasts and lasts. I am in for a decade, or more, so this matters a lot to me... I do not care about reviews from some pump that has been out for a year or two or three or that changes models every year.
