DC Skimmer does NOT turn ON!!!

Hey Reefers,
I just purchased (April 15) a Bubble Magnus Curve D8 for my 90% rebuild; my first DC Skimmer. It came in last week and I decided to place it in the old sump to start the break-in process. Silent & DC Control (just what I like). However, I tested another feature, Turning Off and ON whenever I am doing maintenance, water change, etc (via APEX Fusion/Local) and the TURN ON failed. I can see power going into the power brick once the set timing code (5 minutes delay) in APEX has ran (It lights up green). In order for the skimmer to start running, I have to manually Press the Skimmer Controller, so it can turn on; instead of what I assume is, once power goes to it, the skimmer automatically turns on. It is the same code I used for my previous non DC-skimmer (SKIMZ 161). Is this common with ALL DC Powered Skimmer or is this particular one an anomaly?

Well I got the answer from the Bubble Magnus manufactures here in the USA. Apparently, they never designed that memory feature in the controller and apparently, plans on rolling out new controllers in the near future, whatever that means...apparently my name is on the list to get an updated controller...(((I am not enjoying this skimmer...))) biggest fear is a power surge and I am at work...skimmer will NEVER come turn back on, EVEN though power is sent to it...it has to manually be turned on...
