Hi everyone

In my dd pro reef 1200 i have brought a automatic top up and had it in the front chamber of the sump and i notice mychamber with the pump in running low so put the topup probe in the same chamber as the pump is this correct?

The other thing also is my tank has been set up fot 1 week and i have brown on my rock and sand will this go as iknow its cycling ?

That is very unusual to occur after only 1 week. Can you tell me how you set the tank up or point me to a build thread please?

Live sand 340lt of salt water from my local shop 20kg of life rock 5 kg of live rock i added some balls to my filter socks im at work and cant remember what they are called .im using a maxspect jump led
My tank is 4ft 2ft 18 inch.

Your tank won't be cycling then with that much live rock and sand added.
Might be best to upload a photo of what it is that's bothering you.

Its hard to see as my light is not full on yet. The rock on the bottom is ment to be white?
