Recently installed two aquariums purchased from overseas, one is a 340 gallon x 7 ft and the other is 105 x 4 ft.
This is the current livestock list that is being QT'd
Why overseas?
I was ghosted by a prominent manufacturer when trying to make a claim for damage during shipping. Knowing that could happen I decided to try foreign products like Jebao and source most of my parts from abroad figuring I could buy 2 or more for the equivalent spend. Anything else I'd do a little DIY (frag racks, etc..).
Sourcing from overseas wasn't perfect, it took almost 6 months to deliver and we are still figuring out how I may get a partial refund for a broken ATO. That said, I can't complain about the value. This route isn't for the faint of heart or impatient, but ya'll aren't that
.
Feel free to ask questions.
