Can I use a DE Filter with Copper in a QT? Has anyone ever tried? I have fish in QT now with copper, and want to incorporate a de filter I have laying around.

I would keep a close eye on the copper levels.
I have no proof, but in my mind the diatom powder seems like it could absorb copper.
IDK, just a guess.

A De filter won’t affect copper levels or other chemicals. Some of it may get diluted by the volume of the water in the filter itself. Copepods, and smaller organically in the 5+ micron range will get filtered/

When dealing with copper the Hanna checker is your best friend.
