So unfortunately my 2 spot had become more reclusive and hadnt seen him. Cam home today looking and one of his hiding spots i saw a pile of hermit crabs and bumble bee snails. He didn't make it. From what i could even get to with a skewer was his tiny head, they have devoured most of him it seems. I cannot get whatever is left of him without moving some serious rockwork. Can I just let the crabs and snails continue feasting? Just did a water change yesterday out of pure chance. Rip little guy.

That stinks, I would just let the cuc do their jobs with the remains in hole.

Yeah if it was a big tang or something I might make a little more effort to get it out but a goby shouldn’t effect your parameters too bad. Sounds like the cuc has most of it handled already...

Let the cuc deal with it. These fish have very poor long term survival rates. I would not waste your money purchasing another.

Thanks, I have no intention to. Was kind of duped into getting it. Going to go with a goby that readily eats. Any suggestions?

The larger shrimp gobies such as yellow wathmen, Randall's, orange spotted...etc.. paired with a pistol are easy to care for.

The smaller shrimp gobies work too although Yasha and such can be harder to feed in larger tanks with active swimmers because they are on the shyer side vs the watchmens.

÷1 to the above advice and let the CUC take care of business. Sorry to hear about your loss!

Thank you, Im going to let the tank rest for a bit and will heed the advice above. A yellow watchman would be nice.
