Had 5 Fathead sunburst anthias. I should say I did not realize they dont school like other anthias. Anyway 3 are now dead during Day 4. I am doing TTM. 2 died before last transfer and 1 this morning after last night's transfer.

One had a weird lesion on it but of course didnt take a pic...other 2 I can't see anything wrong visibly with them. Last night ammonia did creep up a bit but didnt really see any signs of issues and I am dosing daily for ammonia.

Here is a pic. Am I just not seeing something?

OR are the last 2(who do seemed paired up) picking the others off?

The lession on the one makes me want to start antibiotics incase bacterial or uronema may be an issue.

Any input is appreciated!

Yes, that is the best thing, wide variety of ABX and also metroplex will cover uronema.

Day 1 of metro kana and f2. Wish me luck!

Keep having issues with anthias. Wondering if with them I should do preventative antibiotics day 1 of getting them in.

So I've now lost 4 of the 5 fathead anthias. The external infections dont seem major to kill off this fast. Could it be internal? I've dosed metro kana and furan 2. Should I try mixing any with focus or wait and hang tight? I've also thought about giving a bath on Ruby Reef.

I have 3 QTs right now. All came from same place. 9 Bartlett anthias in one and they seem fine so far except for one died right away from who knows what. Other has a leopard wrasse that seems fine if he would just eat. Problem with the fathead is they refuse food right now...

@Humblefish do you have any suggestions or am I doing everything I can do?
