My clowns died overnight everything was fine they ate prior to switching the light off

They both were next to this

How long has your tank been set up?

A few observations:

1) your coral looks angry (guessing it’s a parameter)
2) the gills of the fish are reddish indicating potential ammonia burn (likely the parameter)
3) the clowns look very thin and unhealthy as if they haven’t eaten and have been suffering for some time.

Sorry for your loss!

I'm going to throw my hat in for ammonia issues. It seems you may have added a lot of Fish rather quickly to your new system. How old is your system? Did you cycle it properly? You're going to hear it again but we need solid parameters, how many other fish are in the tank? When were they added?

I’ve been checking my ammonia especially once a week and it’s been at 0 the coral picture was when I just turned the lights on so it looks angry or disturbed
The clowns both ate especially the bigger one I’m not sure
Ammonia 0
Nitrate 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate might vary a bit
Ph is 7.6-8.0

I will test ammonia right now and send a picture

The presence of zero ammonia, nitrite, or nitrate tells me this is a brand new tank. That was my original suspicion and unfortunately, that’s also your answer. Slow down and take it easy!

I’d say that’s not a accentuate response but thanks.

My salinity was checked yesterday when I did a water top off which was 1.025 just a small goby and that’s all

I was wondering if it was because I dosed some NO3-PO4 by Red Sea

I'm not sure if it's just me or..

I've always had an issue with those kind of test kits.. you test the water, let it sit for x amount of minutes and then compare..

Personally I'd say that it reads somewhere around 0.5

How old is your system, did you seed it with live-rock, sand or water from an established system?

Sorry I hadn't seen this message,

I dose No3-PO4-X daily myself, it basically reduces phosphates, I'll include a picture of my two Oscellaris

So you don’t think the dosing has anything to do with it?
I added live rock and live sand as well as water from my lfs and a bunch of bacteria in a bottle

It says I don’t have permission to open file

Haha okay thanks

Should be good now,

What kind of water was it? My LFS offers 3 mixes, Osmose, pre-mixed & sea water, was it also 'cured' live-sand + live-rock?

It's often adviced to wait for atleast 4-8weeks before adding any fish, and even a couple of weeks if you put it live-sand, live-rock & water

You still haven’t answered how long the tank has been set up, you’ve been asked several times.

I mean no disrespect but I do want you to have your answer so we can advise you further.
